AMA Network Meeting: Marketing the Ulster Hall
11 November 2009, 3pm - 4.30pm
Ulster Hall, Belfast
The Grand Dame of Belfast’s venues, the Ulster Hall, re-opened its doors in March 2009 after extensive refurbishment work. Join Janice Crowe, Media, Communications & Customer Relations Manager, for a tour of the new facilities and hear the behind the scenes story from a marketer’s perspective.
Janice will talk about the challenges of re-launching, re-branding and marketing the Ulster Hall alongside the Waterfront.
This is an AMA Networking Meeting, hosted by Member Rep Alice Lewis. It is open to AMA members and non-members and is a
chance to meet other arts professionals and develop your networks.

AMA Networking Event: Innovation at the Box Office
January 2010 (Date and venue to be confirmed)
Michael Kelly has been Box Office Manager for UBBFQ for the last 5 years; prior to that he worked as IT Manager in the Grand Opera House. In that time he’s overseen two system changes and has kept pace with digital developments including blogging, Twittering, i-Phone apps, Verified by Visa and much more.
If you’ve got a question relating to box office systems or digital marketing tools, Michael is the man to ask! Drawing on his extensive experience in IT and ticketing systems, and his natural interest in new technology Michael is well placed to hold a lively and informal conversation.
This is an AMA Networking event, open to members and non members. It’s a chance to meet other arts professionals and broaden your knowledge in an informal and relaxed environment.

Audience Development Masterclass
18 March 2010, 10am - 5pm
NICVA, Belfast
How audience or visitor focused is your organisation? Is your company unequivocally artistic-led and audience focused? Do the leaders of your organisation champion art and audiences equally? Is your audience development insight-driven?
This workshop, led by Andrew McIntyre, will ask these questions and more to help you to take stock of your own audience and organisational development.
The session is free to Audiences NI members, including Band 4 and Associate Members. The cost for non AMA members is £193 + VAT; for AMA members it is £133 + VAT
