Understanding the barriers which prevent Section 75 groups from engaging with the arts is a vital issue in Theme 3 of the Arts Council’s 5 Year Strategy. Based on extensive research, Audiences NI’s new Intercultural Engagement report  pinpoints the specific barriers to attendance experienced locally by both the Chinese and Indian communities and draws broader conclusions for engagement with other ethnic communities.
