Test Drive the Arts Official Media Partner U105 Doubles its Listening Hours
The official media partner of Test Drive the Arts, U105 has doubled its listening hours and achieved its highest ever market share since it began it 2005
The figures released on the 1st February show that U105 reached 211,000 people for the quarter covering listening between June and December 2011, meaning that U105 has achieved a 51% increase year on year with listening hours up to their highest ever 2.44 million per week and market share now at a record 13.7%.
Peter McVerry, Station Manager, U105 said: “I’m delighted that we have grown the audience year on year in what is always a difficult quarter for local radio. Our investment in personalities, quality content and first class music are hitting the right note with existing and new listeners. We look forward to building on this success in 2012 and continuing to deliver for our listeners, sponsors and advertisers.
U105 became the official media partner of Audiences NI flagship project Test Drive the Arts NI in September of 2011 in association with Arts & Business helping to promote the project through radio advertising for its organisations and a variety of roadshows across Northern Ireland helping to solidify the relationship.
